Relocating to a new factory; needed large, enclosed production office with clear sightlines; integration with heavy printing equipment.
Built tall 400m2 mezzanine with glass walls, dual staircases, motorised pallet gates, hermetically sealed production space; coordinated with other trades for fit-out and load distribution.
Bailey Print Group was relocating to a newly purchased factory and needed a large, enclosed production office that offered clear sightlines to the factory floor while accommodating heavy, high-value printing equipment. They engaged FMF to design and build a 400+ m2 mezzanine with glass perimeter walls for visibility, dual staircases for emergency access, and hermetically sealed conditions to protect sensitive printing operations. The project included motorised pallet gates and perspex roller doors so forklifts could load and unload materials without staff assistance on the mezzanine. FMF worked closely with other trades to ensure the placement of columns, staircases, and load-bearing structures aligned perfectly with the overall fit-out. The result was a purpose-built, climate-controlled production space that maximised both ground-level and upper-level efficiency, enabling Bailey Print Group to fully utilise their new facility from day one.
