Approvals & Compliance in Queensland

In Queensland, approvals typically run via your private building certifier. We provide the engineering and documentation they expect (e.g., Form 15 for design/spec compliance) and coordinate stage inspections and Form 16 sign-offs. Builds are designed to the NCC (BCA), with the Queensland Development Code (QDC) addressed where relevant. Your certifier confirms the final pathway and building class/use.

Approval pathways — what to expect

Private certification first: Building approval via your certifier; council referral only if site controls require it (e.g., planning overlays, fire egress, state-controlled roads).
Designed to code: NCC (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards; load-specific engineering with connection details and interfaces to existing services.
