Project Summary
Mike Carney Toyota, one of the largest dealerships in regional Queensland, needed more storage for spare parts to meet growing customer demand in Townsville. Their location meant long freight times from Sydney and Melbourne, so holding more stock on site was essential. For the first project, FMF built a 180 m2 mezzanine within their workshop, providing dedicated parts storage without disrupting operations. The success of this installation led the dealership to commission a second, much larger project - a planned 500 m2 mezzanine covering the entire workshop area where new vehicles are prepared and fitted with accessories. This expansion will more than double their storage capacity, reduce wait times for customers, and future-proof their parts operations.
