Mike Carney Toyota, one of the largest dealerships in regional Queensland, had already worked with FMF on an earlier mezzanine project. After that first installation proved successful, they returned for a second mezzanine to further expand their spare parts storage in Townsville.

The timing of the project added another layer of complexity. The second mezzanine required certification, and the Christmas period slowed that process, creating delays at a time when many suppliers and approval pathways were already stretched. Despite that context, the need remained clear. Because parts heading to far north Queensland can take longer to arrive from major distribution centres, Mike Carney Toyota needed to hold more stock on site to keep servicing customers without unnecessary delays.

FMF delivered a 300m² mezzanine within the existing workshop, creating substantial additional storage without the cost and disruption of building a separate warehouse.
